Donna Jefferson, CEO founded Jefferson Communications in 1990. With the birth of her second child, Donna realized that there was a lack of credible information for parents available in the Maryland area. In response to this need, she founded Chesapeake Family Magazine, a monthly magazine offering information and helpful resources for parents. The company has grown beyond the monthly magazine to include 5 annual guides, three active websites and multiple events. Donna lives in Annapolis with her husband, has two grown children and likes yoga, skiing and enjoying nature. |

Jenny Patrick C., Art Director, is the art genius behind the magazines and annual guides. With a B.A. from Salisbury University and a M.A. from University of Baltimore, she is the principal design director at JECO and is responsible for all the creative design found in the publications. Jenny lives on the Eastern Shore with her family and likes painting, photography, great movies and watching the sunset on the eastern shore.

Jeanne Slaughter, Marketing Director and co-owner of TASTE, Jeanne initiates the promotions for JECO’s flagship magazine, accompanying website, e-newsletter and e-mail campaigns along with co- managing the company’s social media strategy. Jeanne lives in Pasadena with her husband has two grown children and one adorable grandchild. She enjoys cooking, playing board games and attending community events.

Charlita Hearn, Advertising Account Manager for Jefferson Communications. has been in the advertising industry for over 12 years. Charlita's previous experiences are in management in the Staffing/Recruiting industry, Licensed Cosmetologist, and working in a medical office. She currently live in Arnold and grew up in Severna Park. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending local events, swimming and taking day trips to visit the tourist area and small quaint towns close by.
