Donna Jefferson, CEO founded Jefferson Communications in 1990. With the birth of her second child, Donna realized that there was a lack of credible information for parents available in the Maryland area. In response to this need, she founded Chesapeake Family Magazine, a monthly magazine offering information and helpful resources for parents. The company has grown beyond the monthly magazine to include 5 annual guides, three active websites and multiple events. Donna lives in Annapolis with her husband, has two grown children and likes yoga, skiing and enjoying nature. |

Jenny Patrick C., Art Director, is the art genius behind the magazines and annual guides. With a B.A. from Salisbury University and a M.A. from University of Baltimore, she is the principal design director at JECO and is responsible for all the creative design found in the publications. Jenny lives on the Eastern Shore with her family and likes painting, photography, great movies and watching the sunset on the eastern shore.

Simona Jones, Web Director, works behind the scenes keeping the websites update and running smoothly. With a B.A. in graphic design from the University of Connecticut and a M.A. in e-media from Quinnipiac University, she is the principal web director for all JECO websites. She lives in Howard county with her family and in her spare time likes bike riding, cooking vegetarian meals and going to music concerts.

Karen Gaspers, Managing Editor, is the driving force behind the editorial content for all JECO's print publications and websites. She develops the editorial calendar and content for Chesapeake Family. She lives on Maryland's Eastern Shore with her husband and son. |

Jeanne Slaughter, Marketing and Promotions Manager, initiates the promotions for JECO’s flagship magazine, accompanying website, e-newsletter and e-mail campaigns along with co- managing the company’s social media strategy. Jeanne lives in Pasadena with her husband, two grown children and enjoys cooking, playing board games and attending community events.
